We are pleased to launch our 2018 Speaker Series with Dr. Douglas Brinkley, Professor of History at Rice University, CNN Presidential Historian and author of The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America on Wednesday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at Friends of the Bay’s office (111 South Street, Oyster Bay). Dr. Brinkley’s topic is “Theodore Roosevelt: Our Conservationist President.”
