Some new and some returning volunteers were on hand for our August cleanup at Soundside Beach in Bayville. Special shout out to students from Oyster Bay and Syosset schools as well as from Our Lady of Mercy Ecology Club and Scouts from Troop 170.
This was the diving crew geared up and ready to conduct an informal survey, on the morning of Thursday, August 27th, of the oysters placed in the community shellfish garden in Laurel Hollow last year. Divers came from across the island to lend a fin. Thanks to all.
