A painting of a Bayville scene by Tom Dunne, a North Carolina professional artist who was a Locust Valley high school classmate of Friends of the Bay president Bill Bleyer. Tom has done an illustration for Friends of the Bay that will be appearing on T-shirts and canvas tote bags in the near future. Stay tuned.
Today the Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge was renamed the Congressman Lester Wolff National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge would not exist if it were not for his efforts to create it. Thanks Rep. Tom Suozzi, FOB board member John Taylor and all who made this happen.
