Our Policies
Friends of the Bay uses its best efforts to respect and protect the privacy of our online visitors and donors. We will not share your personal information with any third parties. This includes name, address, financial information, and email address.

We do not collect personally identifiable information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly.

If you provide personal information, we may enter that information into our constituent database and contact you in order to:  Complete voluntary surveys seeking feedback for quality and service improvement purposes; Supply you with information, including FOB news, events and services.

Our online monetary contributions are handled by Pay-Pal, a long standing industry leader in secure fundraising. This method uses an industry standard security protocol, which makes it difficult for anyone to intercept the information you enter when making a donation.   Credit card information is not retained by Friends of the Bay.

FOB makes no warranty, guarantee or representation that the use of our web site is protected from viruses, security threats or other vulnerabilities and that your information will always be secure. We use appropriate security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system.

Our email marketing is permission based. If you received a mailing from us, our records indicate that (a) you have expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future (“opt-in”), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us.
