Moments from the 2nd Kayak Conservation Cruise on Sunday, September 13th

Sixty-one paddlers were out on Mill Neck Creek on Sunday, September 13th for the second Kayak Conservation Cruise of the season sponsored by Friends of the Bay and the WaterFront Center in Oyster Bay. The group paddled all the way to Beaver Dam and saw an adult and juvenile bald eagle that have nested in Bayville. Thanks to our prime sponsors: TowboatU.S. and Bridge Marine. Winston Thompson was the winner of the kayak paddle donated by West Marine. Three kayak cruises are planned for next year.
